Isaiah is coming up on 21 months and that is so hard to believe. We feel so blessed to have this little boy. He teaches us, makes us laugh, makes us think, and makes us love Jesus more.
Isaiah is one of a kind, and in our opinion, one smart cookie. His vocabulary is exploding. He is able to put short sentences together and really communicate what he is thinking or wanting. He will say things like:
More please Momma.
No thank you.
Daddy play blocks.
Isaiah help clean up.
Our favorite statement from him is "Watch Out!" He pronounces it, "Hatch Out!"
He knows when to use plural or possessive nouns, and this just astounds me. He can count to 3 and say parts of the alphabet, but never on command as he gets shy when he knows people are listening.
Isaiah is now in his big boy bed a.k.a the toddler bed. We still have him down in the nursery for now and will move him up into his own room after his baby brother comes.
This is Isaiah making funny faces for the camera.
Isaiah took a keen interest in the potty about a month ago, wanting to get on the potty and even telling me when he had to go. I was surprised and some what unprepared for this to happen so fast. So, after a few days of it I decided it was probably a good idea to encourage this. I went out and got a "big boy potty" ( a ring that goes inside the toilet) and showed him how to use it. After getting that, Isaiah was no longer interested in the potty. Bummer. Every once in a while he will tell me he wants to go to the potty and these pictures are of one of those rare occasions.
He is sooo cute and has gotten so big!!
