Big News and more Kitchen pictures

First things first, today was such a special day. Today was baby Hink's 20 week checkup, which means we were able to find out the sex. If I had more time and energy I would scan the ultrasound pictures, but I have neither. The ultrasound tech made me guess what it was based on the picture. I told her I would probably get it wrong, when oop, there it was...very very clearly a boy. We are so excited for Isaiah to have a little bother to share tools with. We do have a name picked out, but you will have to wait 20 more weeks to find that out.

And, the other good news. We are moving back into the kitchen! We have to hook up all the appliances, tile the back splash, and put in the base boards, but enough of it is done to move back in. We had this weekend in mind as a goal to be back in and we made it.

We are so pleased with the outcome so far.

Getting Closer

Our wonderful snow day gave us about 17 inches, and 60 mph winds. This is a picture from out of our bedroom window.

This is when Papa Griz was here. Lance and Papa added outlets for under mounted lighting, changed some of the switches, put in an outlet for the microwave...2 days worth of bending conduit, feeding wires, and about 9 trips to the hardware store.
