The boy with many names

So....tonight Lance was feeding Isaiah when yet another nickname came out of his mouth. Lance has always been fond of using adjectives to create nicknames for people we know or even for random strangers. He has one guy he calls "Sideburns" because of the massive untrimmed sideburns he has. Crazy I know, but now Isaiah has so many nicknames from his father. I thought it would be fun to try to remember and name them all. Here goes:

Captain Distracto
Giggles
Squirmy Wormy
Grabby
Stinky
Whinny
Little boy
Splasher boy
Froggy
Poopy pants
Buddy
Scratchy
Mr. Fussy
Little Man
Little Lance
This may not be a complete list, but these are the ones of the top of our heads.
And what would a post be without a few pictures. I call these, "PERSONALITY pictures."

Here you go

Grass, sticks, and leaves

Hey, I think I like it out here.

How did that happen?

Humm...tastes like dirt.

This yard seems big now, but wait until I am running.

Well....This update is long overdue, (Thanks for giving me a kick in the pants Dad!)
The biggest "addition" to the Hinkle family is a remodeled bathroom.
My advise for any who plan to redo a room in the house. Whatever you expect it to cost, double it! And, however long you expect it to take, double or even triple it. In the end it was all worth it
My husband did an amazing job putting in all of the wainscoting! It looks great! We had someone else re-tile the shower and we are really pleased with that as well.
Here are some photos.
Inside the shower

The new wainscoting!

We still have to install the new light fixture and touch up some paint, but here it is!!!

This is what you all really want to see though. Mr. Isaiah! He is now 9 months old and loves his mama and dada, yes that means we have started the new separation anxiety phase of life. Leaving the room causes an outburst of sobs.
Isaiah had his 9 month check up last week. Here are the stats:
20 lbs 2 oz- 40th percentile
31 in long- 95th percentile!
The doctor called him a tall lean little boy.
He has started some new foods, among them are cheese, yogurt, turkey, and chicken.
He loves his morning "smoothie"- fruit, yogurt, oatmeal
(I don't know what we would do with out a Vita Mix)
I do not have any recent pictures, but here are a few from his 8th month.
More to come.
